What We Built
The platform was losing revenue every time a payment gateway slowed down or failed. We built a system that watches every gateway in real time and automatically routes each payment to whichever option gives the best chance of success. If a payment fails, it retries through a backup instantly — invisible to the customer. Billing is reconciled automatically at month end, with no manual work.
One payment provider was doing all the work. When it had issues, payment failures spiked — costing the platform revenue and frustrating users at the worst possible moment (mid-game).
Payments now flow through the best-performing provider at that moment. Failed attempts switch to a backup in milliseconds. Monthly costs are tracked and reconciled automatically — no spreadsheets.
